Aerosmith – Back in the Saddle (album: Rocks) Description:

Back in the Saddle is one of the heaviest songs on the most critically acclaimed albums from hard rock band Aerosmith in 1977. The third single of the album, the song was written by the primary guitarist of the band, Joe Perry. The lyrics had meant to be tackling only the ideas of cowboy lifestyle and sex, but became the icon song of the band after their reunion tour in 1984. In most of the live renditions, guitarist Brad Whitford took lead guitar, while Joe Perry played dormant. The distinguishing growl of the song comes from the six-string bass Perry used while composing the song.
