Eye of the Tiger is a song off the album DJ Defcon Remix, mastered in the year 2004. The song samples two of the most famous songs by both artists, namely “The Real Slim Shady” by rapper Eminem and “Sexy Body Girl” by reggae star Shaggy. While the intro of the song samples Eminem’s song and includes references to Dr. Dre (Eminem’s mentor), the latter parts intertwine both songs in order to produce a rap-reggae effect. Even though it did not achieve much commercial success, the song became a hit with the underground party and dance club scene.
