The Enemy is perhaps one of the heaviest tracks of the hard rock band Godsmack. Released as the last single from the band’s sixth studio album, enigmatically titled ‘IV’ in 2006, the song was one of the most successful of tracks for the band. The song is also popular among fans as a song to be played live to stage concerts crowds, with the song being the official theme for SummerSlam PV, WWE’s 2006 event. The song has also been used in the game for WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007. Acording to the band’s vocalist Sully Erna, the song describes someone who lives off someone else’s fame and popularity, thereby enjoying the limelight as his own.
