However, the song, especially, its music video, whipped up a storm of controversy due to its depiction of Nas and later Puff Daddy as being crucified (as Jesus). A subsequent fight between the guest artist on the song, Puff Daddy, and Nas’ manager, Steve Stoute, also gained paparazzi attention.
