Redman – Tim 4 Sum Aksion (album: Whut? Thee Album)

Time 4 Sum Aksion is Reginald ‘Reggie’ Noble a.k.a Redman’s second single off his critically acclaimed album “Whut? Thee Album”. It has become quite popular since its release in early 1993 and has been considered one of the most influential songs in the allied hip hop group. The chorus samples from the famous song How I Could Just Kill a Man from another well-known hip hop group Cypress Hill.

MIMS feat. Junior Reid & Baby Cham – This Is Why I’m Hot (Remix) (album: Music is My Savior)

This Is Why I’m Hot (Remix) is the official remixed version of the original song of the same name by ‘Mims’. It was featured on the album Music is My Savior, released in 2007 and was called one of the best remixes of the already successful song. It featured two other artists, Junior Reid (reggae singer) and Baby Cham (dance hall), the style of both being different from rap.

Rage Against The Machine – Testify (album: The Battle of Los Angeles)

‘Testify’ is the third single off influential funk metal band Rage Against the Machine’s third studio album called ‘The Battle of Los Angeles’. The song has a number of political and social references, including the 1968 Black Power Salute at the Summer Olympics as well as references from George Orwell’s novel 1984 in its lyrics. It is noted for its unorthodox guitar-playing, as is usually the case with most RATM songs.
