FightMusic.info Description:
Lunatic Fringe was a single released in 1981 off the second studio album “As Far As Siam” by the Canadian rock band Red Rider. Peaking at #16 on the Canadian charts, the song is often quoted as the band’s most famous till date. Its lyrical content focuses on the disturbing rise in anti-Semtic behaviour in the 70’s, inspired by a book that guitarist Tom Cochrane had read. The song is similar to “Good Times Bad Times” by Led Zeppelin, and starts on an abrupt note along with ambulance sirens being featured at the climax.
