Lunatic Fringe was a single released in 1981 off the second studio album “As Far As Siam” by the Canadian rock band Red Rider. Peaking at #16 on the Canadian charts, the song is often quoted as the band’s most famous till date. Its lyrical content focuses on the disturbing rise in anti-Semtic behaviour in the 70’s, inspired by a book that guitarist Tom Cochrane had read.

A Country Boy Can Survive is one of the signature songs from acclaimed country music artist Hank Williams Jr. Released as a single from his 1982 album, ‘The Pressure Is On’, the song was immensely popular with fans, reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles. Williams Jr re-wrote the lyrics of the song, making it more patriotic in tone (such as the title being changed to America Will Survive), immediately post-9/11.
