Remember the Name is the second track and the first single of hip-hop group Fort Minor’s debut album – The Rising Tied. Released in 2005, this 3 minutes and 49 seconds long track has become universally popular, especially, among sports teams and groups as a possible anthem. The song’s lyrics deals with the toil and hard work required to make it big in the entertainment (read music) industry. All the rappers featured in the song rap in third person, providing an outsider’s view on the rappers’ work. The music video featured members from Shinoda’s other band, Linkin Park, as well as members of Styles of Beyond and Fort Minor itself.
